Redcliffe Musical Theatre is a newly established group on the Redcliffe Peninsula whose goals are:

1. To develop quality, affordable musical theatre to the community of the Redcliffe Peninsula and surrounds,

2. To develop musical theatre in the Redcliffe area through the integration of interested members via learning and performing,

3. To give back to the community via charitable performances and other activities and to nominate and support a major charitable beneficiary,

4. To develop YOUTH musical theatre by establishing a youth musical theatre group and developing and nurturing skills through training, workshops and performance.

Although there is a committee of 7 who essentially run the Redcliffe Musical Theatre Company Inc, it is essentially the brainchild of President Madeleine Johns.

Formed in September 2009, they have already performed 6 sell out and near sell out shows of the Sound of Music in August 2010, featuring a combined cast, orchestra and crew of nearly a hundred souls.  Next up for RMT is Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, pre-production for which is already well under way.
